This is a really naive question so I apologise in advance but I want to understand where ‘things’ – not sure of the correct terminology – such as Node.js or Java live on my machine when installed. I have installed things using Homebrew before but also just using the command line. I get rather confused where all these ‘things’ are living on my machine and how I can remove them in the future if needed, including all their related files.
I’m just interested in understanding more around the subject. Would appreciate an explanation in basic terms.
Thank you!
